MTV Base Africa - Nigeria Television
MTV base is a MTV Network owned channel that plays a minimum of 30% African music content, drawn from all over Africa, with a minimum of 4-6 African music videos played every hour. Music genres include Afro-Beat, Dancehall, Kwaito, Hip-Life, MÂ’balax, Zouk and Coupe, Decale, alongside international genres like Reggae, Hip-Hop, R&B and NeoSoul. This channel was launched in 2005.
