KQIN-TV PBS Davenport - United States Television

KQIN is a full service television station in Davenport, Iowa, broadcasting on local digital UHF channel 34 and virtual channel 36. Founded in 1991 as KQCT, it is owned by the Iowa Public Broadcasting Board and branded as IPTV. It is a member station of PBS (Public Broadcasting Service). In addition to its national PBS programming, KQIN airs IPTV produced programs with information concerning Iowa public affairs, culture, history and education. KQIN’s channel is multiplexed, with IPTV and PBS programming in HD on 36.1; on 36.2 is IPTV Learns, with how-to programs and PBS Kids programs, and on 36.3 is IPTV World, with news and information programs. KQIN used the callsign KQCT as a relay transmitter of WQPT from its 1991 sign-on until it was acquired by IPTV in 2003.
