KQET is a full service television station in Watsonville, California, broadcasting on local digital UHF channel 25 and virtual channel 25. Founded in 1986 as KCAH, it is owned by Northern California Public Broadcasting, Inc. and branded as KQED. KQET is a member station of PBS (Public Broadcasting Service) and a semi-satellite for KQED, San Francisco, California. In addition to its PBS programming, KQET airs locally produced programs with information concerning local interest, culture, history and education. KQET is a multiplexed channel, with three subchannels. KQED and PBS programming is carried on 25.1; on 25.2 is KQED Plus, and V-me is carried on 25.3, with Spanish-language PBS programs.
