KPNE-TV is a full service television station in North Platte, Nebraska, broadcasting on local digital VHF and virtual channel 9. Founded in 1966, it is owned by Nebraska Educational Telecommunications Commission, and it is branded as NET (Nebraska Educational Telecommunications). It is a member station of PBS (Public Broadcasting Service.) In addition to the PBS national programming, NET airs community public affairs shows, Nebraska history and culture programs and educational programs.
