KGEC-LD Redding - United Kingdom Television

KGEC-LD (KGEC-TV on the air) Channel 26 (known as FamilyTV 26) is an independent station based in Redding, California. It was founded by Fresno, California, businessman George E. Cooper in 1997 and became an America One network affiliate in January 1998 before changing its affiliation in July 2000. Cooper’s initials are the station’s call letters. His wife, Millie Cooper, is the station’s president and general manager. Channel 26 is seen on UHF (low-power) channel 26 from Redding south and is on Charter Digital Cable channel 94 in the Redding and Red Bluff areas only.
