Sony Entertainment Television, commonly shortened to Canal Sony (“Sony Channel”, in both Spanish and Portuguese), is a general entertainment channel co-based in Perú, Chile, Venezuela, Brazil and Miami, Florida, United States. It airs in 26 countries in Latin America,[1] and is owned by Sony Pictures Entertainment. In the region, it is distributed by HBO Latin America Group. It was the first pan-regional basic channel that offered programming in its original English language with subtitles and became an award-winning trend setting network.
