WIIQ is a full service television station in Demopolis, Alabama, broadcasting on local digital UHF channel 19 and virtual channel 41. Founded in 1971, WIIQ is owned by Alabama Educational Television Commission and branded as APT (Alabama Public Television). It is a member station of PBS (Public Broadcasting Service.) In addition to its national PBS programming, WIIQ airs locally produced programs with information concerning Alabama public affairs, culture, history and education. WIIQ's channel is multiplexed, with APT and PBS programming on 41.1; on 41.2 is APT IQ, the Family Learning Channel, and on 41.3 is APT-Create, with programs about do-it-yourself and travel information.
