WDIQ-DT PBS Dozier - United States Television

WDIQ is a full service television station in Dozier, Alabama, broadcasting on local digital channel 10 and virtual channel 2. Founded in 1956, it is owned by Alabama Educational Television Commission and branded as APT. It is a member station of PBS (Public Broadcasting Service.) In addition to its national PBS programming, WDIQ airs locally produced programs with information concerning Alabama public affairs, culture, history and education. WDIQ’s channel is multiplexed, with APT and PBS programming on 2.1; on 2.2 is APT IQ, the Family Learning Channel, and on 2.3 is APT-Create, with programs about do-it-yourself and travel information. Under its original call sign, WAIQ (1956 to 1961), WDIQ was the first station to bring APT to Alabama.
