KRVU-LD MyNet Redding - United States Television

KRVU-LD is a low-power television station in Redding, California, broadcasting on local digital UHF channel 21. Founded in 1993, it owned by Sainte Partners II, L.P.. It is an affiliate of MyNetworkTV, referred to as “My Network,” is a television broadcast syndication service in the United States, owned by the Fox Entertainment Group, featuring repeat episodes of other networks highly rated television shows. MyNetworkTV began operations on in 2006 with an initial affiliate lineup covering about 96 percent of the country, most of which were former WB and UPN affiliates. By 2009, MyNetworkTV changed its status from a television network to a syndication programming service with programming is for evening only. Previously affiliated with UPN and the CW, KRVU became an affiliate of MyNetwork in 2006 and is considered one of the flagships for the network. In addition to the MyNetwork programming, KRVU also broadcasts its own local news shows and “The Moriss Taylor Show,” claimed to be the longest-running locally produced television program in Northstate history, as well as other locally produced programs.
