KJLA-TV Los Angeles - United States Television

KJLA is a full service television station in Ventura, California, broadcasting on local digital UHF channel 49 and virtual channel 57. Founded in 1987 as KVES, it owned by LATV Holdings, LLC. It is the flagship station of LATV, a bilingual music and entertainment network. LATV has been on the air in the Los Angeles market as KJLA since 2001 and is distributed through mostly digital television subchannels throughout the United States and Puerto Rico. LATV features Latino-themed programming aimed at young adults aged 18 to 34. KJLA’s channel is multiplexed, with nine subchannels. Channel 57.1 airs LATV; 57.2 carries Vietface TV, with Vietnamese-language programs; 57.3 broadcasts VNA-TV, with Vietnamese-language programs; 57.4 carries SET, with Vietnamese-language programs; 57.5 airs SGTV, with Vietnamese-language programs; 57.6 shows VBS-TV, with original, short-form, documentary-style video content including humanitarian issues, music, insider travel guides, and news; 57.7 broadcasts LSTV (Little Saigon TV), with programs in Vietnamese; 57.8 carries Global TiVi, with programming for communities from Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, Burma, and Lao immigrants, and 57.9 shows ZWTV, with programs in Taiwanese.
